The contestants were asked to take a piece of clothing out of their suitcase and pass it to the next challenger. This cloth had to be incorporated into a garment.I don't have a teammate but after I had paid for my materials at St Vinnys the checkout woman picked up a piece of crochet from under the counter and added it to my bag. Aha! that is the passalong piece I would have to use. (Peach ended up with something similar.)
The yellowy-orange crochet became a poncho. I like the tight bodice, then flow at the cuffs and waist. I popped it with a bright fuchsia silk sash.
Underneath she is wearing a blue green form-fit sheath.
Hair needed to be slicked back since the poncho had volume and I finished with a yellow boot. I'd prefer a pair of purple boots!
