Today's challenge is casual. Heidi Klum is launching a new line designed for the on-the-go mom.I did plaid boat shorts, a bit baggy with an upturned cuff, mostly so they don't look like men's underwear.
The top is my take on a stylish sweat shirt. I used golden fleece in a modified bateau (boat) cut. The straps are to make sure the mom's breasts don't peek out when baby is pulling the shirt or when she bends over.
I guess you could call this my sailor suit.
And yes I used my military-style cap. Throw your hair in a ponytail, plop on your hair, and viola! off your go. Chic and modern!
Update: Heidi threw a curve...two additional looks! Okay, I'm up for it. I'll be creating them tonight. Check back soon :)
Look 2: Here's an easy-to-wear pullover knit dress with a hood. Its sleeveless, but you could wear a long sleeve top under it for cool days. And I nipped the waist with a simple belt. Look 3: This one is effortless dressing. Golden yellow pull on pants with a wide stretchy green top. Above is a capelet with a built in stretchy bandeau. Note: I didn't have the neutral colors Heidi used. These are the only knits in my original cloth batch. No mood here. No fabric stores either.
